Wall, Desktop, or Something Else? A Look at Our Calendar Sizes and Formats

Wall calendars get most of the attention around here, so it's easy to forget just how many shapes and sizes our calendars actually come in. If you've only ever looked at one product page, you've probably only seen one option — so here's the full picture, and a question for you at the end.

Wall Calendars: A4, A3, Letter and Ledger

Most of our wall calendar designs come in four sizes, so the calendar can fit wherever you actually want to hang it:

  • A4 (21 x 29.7cm) — the compact, everyday option. Great for a home office, a hallway, or anywhere wall space is limited.
  • Letter (8.5 x 11in, for US & Canada) — the same compact sizing as A4, just cut to the standard North American paper size.
  • A3 (29.7 x 42cm) — a bigger, bolder statement piece. This is the size that really lets a landscape or wildlife photo breathe.
  • Ledger (11 x 17in, for US & Canada) — the North American equivalent of A3, for the same larger, more impactful hang.

Prefer a particular shape? Browse our vertical wall calendars or horizontal wall calendars.

Some designs also come as a Slim Vertical calendar (14.8 x 40cm, or 5.5 x 16.5in) — a narrower, taller format that suits a tighter wall space or a more graphic, elongated image beautifully.

Desktop Calendars

Not everyone has wall space to spare, or wants to commit a whole year to one spot. That's where the Desktop Calendar comes in — a compact 10 x 5in horizontal calendar that sits neatly on a desk, a shelf, or a bedside table. It's had a lot of interest from people who want the same photography in a smaller, more personal format they can have right in front of them at work.

What Would You Like to See Next?

This is where I'd love your input. Right now the range covers wall calendars in a few sizes, a slim vertical option, and the desktop format — but there's plenty of room to expand.

Would a square calendar suit your space better? Do you prefer the slim vertical style over a standard rectangle? Or is a genuinely mini desk calendar — something small enough to sit next to a keyboard or on a bookshelf — something you'd actually use?

Let me know in the comments which format you'd like to see more of. Your feedback genuinely shapes what gets added to the range next.
